1 Yr Coach Course

The CCA Coach training course is unique.  We have taken the most up to date scientific research in conditioning and fitness principles and practice to design our CCA conditioning programs.

The Founders have more than 30 years of experience in the fields of therapy and rehabilitation in dogs, horses and humans too.

This course pulls together current research from human, equine and canine conditioning and fitness, giving our students the most relevant scientific thinking to form the basis from which to excel in this new field of Canine Conditioning.

At CCA we have created safe exercises that are proved to correctly condition muscles in a measurable way, as part of balanced and thorough canine conditioning programme.

We take a step by step approach beginning at the core, and moving toward sport specific training, using methods and easily sourced equipment that can be integrated into your dogs lifestyle.  Link to course information

2 Day Conditioning

Foundation 2 Day Workshop

The Canine Conditioning Academy is offering the Foundation Conditioning 2 day workshop ONLINE for canine professionals and enthusiasts.

Course participants will be taught why the starting point to conditioning is activating and strengthening the CORE and stabilising musculature to improve posture, alignment, and gait.

In this course, you will learn how to fully assess your dog’s posture, gait, and condition using our 5 stage assessment process.

At the CCA all dogs, whatever breed, age, and fitness level, start with our Foundation Conditioning Programme.  Our 6 week CCA Programme uses specific, targeted, and measurable core strengthening exercises and stretches that will transform any dog’s core stability, balance and flexibility.

The Foundation Conditioning Programme is straightforward and the exercises are easily performed. The programme is designed to be done at home or when out ‘walking’ your dog. The activity items are easy to set up and source and do not include wobble cushion, peanuts or other instability equipment.

This course awards 16 hours of CPD Bodywork for Canine Massage Guild members, and may be subject to other CPD hour rates for other organisations.

To join this course you will need a laptop or PC, and you will need to complete the essential reading and have a 15 min tech check with us prior to attending the  workshop.

body regulated by OFQUAL, SQA, and Qualification Wales.

Testimonial

I absolutely loved this workshop, Emma is a great teacher, really patient and explains everything it was also great fun. I can now do a 40 min massage for my dogs and they all love it. Its helps to warm them up and cool down too. I think it has helped them to achieve faster times and I can tell if they have any tight spots. Emma is very knowledgeable and she treats my dogs regularly but this helps them in between sessions. Highly recommend doing this course and it worked well for my dogs being on line as I know they wouldn’t settle with lots of other dogs around them
